On December 2nd, the 9 th "Deloitte technology Fast500 Asian Pacific 2010 Award" announced its result and held the award ceremony at Multinational hotel in Hongkong. Beijing Fastweb Technology inc. has been honored with the award and CEO Zaide Liu attended the award ceremony. There were other major industry leaders in attendence from eleven other asian pacific countries.
Deloitte Corp. has selected the most outstanding candidates from fastest growing companies in the technology, media and telecommunication industries based on their fiscal year revenue growth rate in the past three years. Founded in 2006 Beijing Fastweb won the Deloitte Chinese Technology Fast50 and Fast500 award for the first time in 2009, then this time it acquired the honor again. Out of the past 5 rounds of award has appeared many world-class industry flagship companies, such as QQ, Baidu, Alibaba internet companies and new industry symbols such as Focus Media and Suntech-power corp.
Technology Fast50 award originated from Deloitte corp. at San Jose California in 1995, for the purpose of selecting the fastest growing 50 companies in high tech industry. In 2002 it has expanded into Asian area to not only honor the contribution from similar companies in various industry at asian pacific region, but also to showcase topics related to the high tech industry development and entrepreneur efforts. So far there are Technology Fast50 award reward given in fifteen regions in asian pacific, north America and European areas.
As one of the most innovative companies in the CDN industry, Beijing fastweb has obtained leadership position in the core CDN technology areas. In the system cache area, the Fastcache technology developed two years ago has retained server speed at 30000 hits/second which is 15 times faster than the SQUID technology.
